The Dorchester Hotel is hiring Housekeepers We are looking for out-going, friendly and fast-paced individuals to join our small, but mighty team

Our focus is to provide an exceptional 5-star experience for guests of the Dorchester and visitors to our heritage building. If you are looking for a Part Time or Full time position, interested in hospitality, and are a go-getter, reliable and a detailed individual - we would love to hear from you

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Weekend availability + Holidays
- Using specified cleaning products and tools to follow each rooms cleaning checklist.
- Following proper procedures laid out by housekeeping management to maintain a smooth work flow.
- Ensures privacy of residents during performance of duties.
- Adheres to established company policies and procedures regarding quality assurance, fire and safety.
- A close eye and attention to detail
- A passion for cleaning and making things shine
- Technology skills (Able to use cell phone for provided checklist)
- Cleaning experience is not a must but a bonus

Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of the hotel and rooms. If you have experience in residental cleaning, custodial work, or have a background in the hospitality industry, we encourage you to apply.

**Responsibilities**:

- Clean and sanitize assigned areas, including rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and common areas
- Dust furniture, vacuum carpets, and mop floors
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
- Restock supplies such as toiletries and towels
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel
- Follow established cleaning procedures and protocols
- Adhere to health and safety regulations
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with guests or clients

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques is a plus
- Familiarity with hospitality or hotel environments is beneficial
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Good communication skills to interact with team members and guests

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Holidays
- Morning shift
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- Cleaning: 1 year (preferred)
