Times: Wednesday Evenings 5:30-8:00pm/ Saturday Mornings 9:00am-12:00 noon

The Huron Community Association offers a variety of different activities for Adults and youth of all ages.

The HCA is looking for staff who are organized, motivated to participate, and skilled at being asset builders for children and youth. You may be asked to also supervise additional volunteers.

Major Responsibilities:

- Plan and organize multisport activities (range of different sports/ active games) and games for ages 4-6, 7-9, 10-12
- Coordinate child centered programming and ensure that equipment and supplies are set-up
- Provide coordination, support and leadership to the other program staff and volunteers
- Act as a positive role model for program staff, volunteers, and participants
- Implement positive and effective behaviour management strategies
- Develop and deliver quality programming to program participants each week

Qualifications:

- Must possess relevant leadership, administration, supervision, communication, social development and positive behaviour management skills
- Experience in leading various sports an asset
- Must have current Standard First-Aid Certificate, or willing to obtain
- Police check required upon offer of employment
- Must have strong programming skills with a preferred variety of skills in leading sports to children
- Own transportation to the program location will be required

Recommended age: 18 years of age or older

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 3-15 per week

**Salary**: From $20.00 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
Instructors must be double-vaccinated a minimum of two weeks prior to starting in the role.
