**Job Description**:
The Placement Clerk is responsible for securing placement spots at various agencies to ensure students meet their program requirements. The incumbent is responsible for complex communication and problem solving to maintain positive working relationships with a variety of contacts inside and outside the College. The Placement Clerk supports the non-academic specific training needs requirements of each agency. The Placement Clerk must maintain a high level of confidentiality and ensure data stewardship when dealing with the sensitive documentation required for students to attend placements.- Arranges clinical placements in a variety of settings;- Create opportunities for appropriate community and institution-based clinical placement experiences;- Assists Program coordinators in evaluating the appropriateness of clinical experiences and makes necessary changes;- Identifies partner agency requirements at each clinical placement location, such as orientation and electronic health record training, and communicates these clinical entry requirements to instructors and student groups in a timely manner;- Communicates with placement agencies regarding plans for student placements (dates, student numbers, etc.); monitors status of placement requests; accepts, declines or confirms requests;- Initiates contact and requests prospective clinical sites for practicum experiences for group student placements and consolidation placements;- Responsible for organizing, tracking and completion follow up on all clinical mandatory training including, but not limited to, N95 mask fit testing, NVCI, Flu shots;- Collaborates on affiliation agreements.

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of a two (2) year diploma or equivalent in Health Studies;- Minimum of two (2) years experience with nursing and health studies programming including types of workplaces and various roles;- Highly effective communication and organizational skills;- Strong computer skills; knowledge of educational technologies an asset;- Evidence of commitment to the success of all learners.

Anticipated Weekly Schedule:
- 6 hrs/day for 4 days/week
- This position is paid at Payband D - Comparator.
