**Position**:
H.R. Doornekamp Construction Ltd. - Project Manager (PM)

**Position Overview**:
The PM will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating activities of all construction projects occurring within the division. The PM will ensure goals or objectives of projects are accomplished within prescribed schedules and budgets by fulfilling the below job description.
- Manage project activities throughout lifecycle, including project scope, allocation of adequate resources, scheduling, documentation, budget, and other factors necessary for success.
- Ensure project specifications and contact requirements are being met.
- Plan project timelines, milestones, and deliverables using the appropriate software tools and/or methods based on project specific requirements
- obtain required resources both internally and externally.
- Track project progress and report to stakeholders and management.
- Identifies and manages opportunities and risks to achieve the best possible impact on schedule and financial targets
- Maintains, tracks and reports all financial aspects of project including forecasts and billings
- Manages the procurement process including subcontractor/trade/supplier negotiations and awards.
- Identify and resolve conflicts within project teams and associate work; create contingency plans to mitigate risk.
- Conduct project post mortems in order to identify areas for improvement; make recommendations based on findings.
- Ensure safety and quality standards are met at all times.
- Prepare progress claim packages for submission.
- Process subcontractor progress claims and invoices.
- Lead Project Progress Meetings

**Experience**:

- Residential, Marine, and ICI Construction experience preferred but not required.

**Reporting**:
The Project Manager will report directly to the appropriate divisional General Manger(s) for each of jobs on hand to present current information and highlight progress and issues. The PM will work closely with the GM’s of Construction and Aggregates, as well as Estimation team and Site Supervisors.

**Compensation**:

- In-line with experience / qualifications

**Salary**: $85,000.00-$110,000.00 per year

- Odessa, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- DCS / DEC (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Project management: 1 year (preferred)

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Odessa, ON
