**ENTRY LEVEL POSITION: Full Time/Seasonal**
- In this role you will be scouting for insects and diseases in various greenhouse crops in Essex County.
- Some knowledge/interest of pest and/or beneficial insects is preferable and scouting experience is an asset. With hands-on training, you will develop the ability to identify the major insect pests and their crop damage symptoms

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**:

- Physical demands of walking all day (8-9 hours)
- Summer conditions can be hot and humid
- Some knowledge/interest of pest/beneficial insects is preferable
- Scouting experience is an asset
- Use of scissor carts and climbing over some obstacles
- Clear, concise handwriting
- English communication skills (spoken and written)
- Good rapport with customers
- Good knowledge of general math for data collection
- Attention to details
- Ability to work with minimum supervision and in the time allotted
- Insured personal vehicle and good driving record is required
- **Travel is required**

**HOURS**:Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm, Occasional Saturday

**LOCATION**:Essex County - Drive your own vehicle from farm to farm and get paid mileage

Pay rate depends on experience
