Store Leader

**Position Overview**: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Associate to take on the role of Store Lead at our retail furniture store. As the Store Lead, you will be responsible for not only driving on-floor sales and delivering exceptional customer experiences but also managing various aspects of store operations. Your eye for detail, strong communication skills, and leadership abilities will play a pivotal role in ensuring the store's success.
**Responsibilities**
- On-Floor Sales
- Greet customers warmly and engage in conversations to understand their furniture needs.
- Provide expert product knowledge, offering solutions tailored to individual customer preferences.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the store's offerings and pricing to assist customers effectively.
- Guide customers through the purchasing process, from product selection to payment.
- Staff Scheduling
- Develop and manage weekly staff schedules, ensuring optimal coverage during peak business hours.
- Assign tasks and responsibilities to sales associates to ensure efficient store operations.
- Monitor attendance and punctuality, addressing any staffing gaps promptly.
- Store Coordination
- Collaborate with inventory management to ensure products are well-stocked, organized, and presented attractively.
- Oversee visual merchandising to create visually appealing displays that showcase the store's furniture offerings.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, following company guidelines for cleanliness and safety.
- Team Collaboration
- Lead by example, fostering a positive and customer-focused work environment.
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate updates, share sales strategies, and address challenges.
- Provide ongoing training and coaching to sales associates, helping them develop strong product knowledge and sales skills.
- Store Success
- Analyze sales trends, customer feedback, and performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and maximize store revenue.
- Collaborate with management to develop promotions, events, and initiatives that drive customer traffic and engagement.
- Customer Experience
- Uphold the store's reputation for exceptional customer service by ensuring all interactions are friendly, helpful, and professional.
- Address customer concerns and inquiries in a timely manner, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.
**Qualifications**
Proven experience in retail sales, preferably in the furniture or home furnishings industry.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Leadership abilities with a track record of successfully leading teams.
- Organizational and multitasking skills to manage store operations efficiently.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

**Salary**: $17.00-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week
