Job Summary:
SIMPILICITY CAR CARE WOODSTOCK seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician to join their team. As an Auto Body Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring damaged vehicles to their original condition.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform auto body repairs and restoration on damaged vehicles. Remove damaged fenders, panels and grills and bolt weld replacement parts into place
- Remove dents, scratches, and other imperfections from vehicle surfaces. Replace front end components, body components, doors and frame and underbody components.
- Repair or replace damaged body panels. File, grind and sand body surfaces to be repaired.
- Align and repair structural damage. Hammer out dents, buckles and defects using blocks and hammers. Straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment
- Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding, priming, and masking
- Utilize power tools and hand tools to complete repairs
- Inspect completed work for quality assurance

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as an Auto Body Technician
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of automotive repair techniques
- Proficient in using power tools and hand tools
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality craftsmanship
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience working in automotive repair shop

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $28.00-$32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed

Work Location: In person
