- **Contract Details**:full-time and permanent, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Office job (not remote work).
- A personal vehicle is required, as our office is not located on a bus route.

Our services include pre-construction, execution and project closure and handover in many new homes, renovations and various commercial projects.

**About This Opportunity**

The applicant must be passionate about accounting as the daily tasks include numerous data inputs into the system, ensuring the accuracy of the information saved and having a permanent oversight of entering the system to prevent missing files or inaccurate records.

**What to Expect**

Be prepared to be a data searcher and support the bookkeeper and accountant to find possible missing receipts or statements and any other information required for reconciling, and have the initiative to continuously support the standardization and improvement of the process.

Proactivity will be essential to have all tasks moving forward, make the call when needed, update information, and report in a timely manner. You will find yourself immersed in the world of residential construction, you will have the opportunity to familiarize yourself with our processes, materials and exciting projects, having an essential role in keeping our accounting flawless and on track.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare invoices and issue them to the client.
- Accurately categorize transactions in Quickbooks Online.
- Input expense information into Quickbooks Online and maintains an accurate and updated Accounts Payable.
- Maintain an updated Accounts Receivable and support invoicing cycles to ensure proper collection of Accounts Receivable.
- Support the bi-weekly pay cycles to clear off any criticals in A/P and A/R effectively.
- Report remittance statements after processing A/P and provide statements and receipts as requested.
- Update files in cloud-based systems, keeping accounting folders current as per projects' work schedules.
- Support requests by the bookkeeper and accountant on tasks related to the preparation of accounts for reconciliation and balances.
- Follow up with buyers when expense information is missing.
- Support some general administrative tasks, including updating files and standardization of procedures
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Have a reliable vehicle for personal transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Demonstrate experience and credentials in bookkeeping or financial services.
- Be entitled to legally work in Canada.
- Be a Manitoba resident, living in the city of Winnipeg or within a reasonable commuting distance of our office.
- Be able to provide at least 2 professional references. The references can be from past employers, trainers, teachers or instructors that can provide information on your skills and experience.
