**Job Type**: Part-Time

Position Reports to: Director of Sales

**Summary of Position**

The Food Demonstrator plays a key role in showcasing our products to customers, providing samples, and sharing product information to drive sales. The goal is to create a positive and memorable customer experience while promoting our brand and products in an engaging and informative manner.

**Tasks and Responsibilities**
- Conduct in-store or event-based food demonstrations to showcase the taste, quality, and benefits of products
- Distribute samples and promotional materials to encourage product trials and purchases
- Create attractive product demonstration stations at designated locations to engage potential customers
- Engage with customers, answer product-related questions, and provide clear, enthusiastic explanations about the products
- Encourage customers to purchase featured products by highlighting their unique features, nutritional benefits, and overall value
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized demonstration area, adhering to health and safety guidelines
- Ensure product levels are sufficient, request product replenishment when needed, and ensure samples are always presented attractively
- Gather customer feedback and share insights with the team to improve future demonstrations
- Collaborate with store staff and management to coordinate demonstration schedules and logistics

**Qualifications and Requirements**

Knowledge Required:

- Proficiency in English (speak, write, read)
- Proficiency in French (speak, write, read)

Education/Experience:

- Previous experience in food demonstrations, customer service, or sales is preferred, but not required.

Technical/Professional Skills:

- Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to engage customers in a friendly and approachable manner
- Possesses the aptitude and ability to gain adequate knowledge of the products represented
- Ability to prepare and serve food samples using small appliances such as fryers, and skillets
- Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to persuade and influence purchasing decisions
- Ability to maintain product presentation and follow hygiene and safety protocols
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends or evenings, depending on store hours or event times
- Possession of a valid driver’s license for Quebec and access to a reliable vehicle for transportation to various locations or events

**Résumé du poste**

Le démonstrateur alimentaire joue un rôle clé dans la présentation de nos produits aux clients, en fournissant des échantillons et en partageant des informations sur les produits pour stimuler les ventes. L’objectif est de créer une expérience client positive et mémorable tout en faisant la promotion de notre marque et de nos produits de manière engageante et informative.

**Taches et responsabilités**
- Réaliser des démonstrations culinaires en magasin ou lors d’événements pour mettre en valeur le gout, la qualité et les avantages des produits
- Distribuer des échantillons et du matériel promotionnel pour encourager les essais et les achats de produits
- Créez des postes de démonstration de produits attrayants à des endroits désignés pour attirer les clients potentiels
- Interagissez avec les clients, répondez aux questions liées aux produits et fournissez des explications claires et enthousiastes sur les produits
- Encouragez les clients à acheter les produits phares en mettant en avant leurs caractéristiques uniques, leurs avantages nutritionnels et leur valeur globale
- Maintenir une zone de démonstration propre, sure et organisée, en respectant les consignes de sante et de sécurité
- Assurez-vous que les niveaux de produits sont suffisants, demandez le réapprovisionnement du produit lorsque cela est nécessaire et assurez-vous que les échantillons sont toujours présentes de manière attrayante
- Recueillez les commentaires des clients et partagez vos idées avec l’équipe pour améliorer les démonstrations futures
- Collaborer avec le personnel et la direction du magasin pour coordonner les calendriers de démonstration et la logistique

**Qualifications et exigences**

Connaissances requises:

- Maitrise de l’anglais (parler, écrire, lire)
- Maitrise du français (parlez, écrire, lire)

Éducation/Expérience:

- Une expérience préalable en démonstrations alimentaires, en service a la clientèle ou en vente est préférable, mais pas obligatoire

Compétences techniques/professionnelles:

- Excellentes compétences en communication verbale et capacité à communiquer avec les clients de manière amicale et accessible
- Possède l’aptitude et la capacité d’acquérir une connaissance adéquate des produits représentés
