Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our team. As a Line Cook/Prep Cook, you will be responsible for assisting in meal preparation and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our customers. This is a vital role in our kitchen, and we are looking for someone who is passionate about food and has experience working in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and gathering spices
- Assist in the cooking process by following recipes and instructions provided by the head chef
- Cook food items according to established standards and recipes
- Ensure that all food is prepared in a safe and sanitary manner, following proper food handling and safety guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy periods
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying the head chef of any shortages or discrepancies

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a Line Cook/Prep Cook or similar role in the food service industry
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects

**Job Type**: Permanent

Pay: $15.00-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 30 per week
