**Job Description - Lead Receiver - Warehouse / Kitchens / Doors**

**Note - Must have experience in Kitchen Cabinetry / Doors / Hardware Receiving**

We are committed to our core values and our initiative to growth, and as such, we are searching for a qualified, experienced **Lead Receiver - Warehouse / Kitchens / Doors **tojoin our team in Woodbridge

Responsible for receiving, offloading, handling / checking of inbound kitchen product into warehouse. With the instruction from department head, you will be required to off-load effectively and safely, unload, verify product and count against PO#s, inspect for damage and move inbound product to specific warehouse locations. Attention to detail, safety, equipment usage and inventory management are all critical.

- Safely unload / load delivery and pick up vehicles
- Operate lifting devices, eg. forklifts, elevating platforms, lift beams and swivel hooks hoists
- Inspect and verify all inbound shipments for accuracy and damages (visible and hidden)
- Verify shipments against invoices or Purchase Orders
- Manually load and unload materials from pallets, skids, platforms, trucks and lifting devices.
- Support inventory control with accurate documentation
- Follow all workplace safety policies, and compliance regulations
- Perform routine maintenance on vehicles and auxiliary equipment
- Accurately weigh and document materials
- Provide production data on tags or labels

**Experience and Skill Set**
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
- 2+ Year's Experience in similar kitchen related role
- Minimum 3 years experience as a forklift operator
- Forklift Safety Training Certificate
- Experience with routine maintenance operations
- Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment
- Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times
- Computer literate
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
