As Saltus’ Head Strength & Conditioning coach, you will be reporting directly to our Director of Performance and will be responsible for ensuring optimal delivery of our training & testing services to clients of all ages and abilities in personal, small group, and team training environments. As the Head S&C Coach, you will be responsible for every level of service delivery including coaching, program design, testing, and management of clients and stakeholders.

As an evolving organization, Saltus Performance is seeking driven, self-starting, enthusiastic, problem solving and creative applicants.

Applicants should be willing to work in the early mornings, evenings and/or weekends, and have reliable transportation to the odd off-site location.

**Job Duties**
- Delivering coaching / personal training to clients in a 1:1, small group, and team environment
- Performance testing + analysis and communication of results to clients & stakeholders
- Manage programming
- Assist in managing junior coaches & interns
- Generate leads and retain existing clients
- Liaise with clients, parents, teams, and partner organizations
- Provide each client and potential client with the best quality of customer experience.
- Actively assist in marketing and social media initiatives
- Assist in general organization, tidiness, and cleanliness of weight room facilities.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Desired qualifications and experience**
- Bachelors or master’s degree in Kinesiology or related field. (Applicants without will still be considered).
- Current Strength & Conditioning Credentials through an accredited body. (ex. NSCA-CSCS)
- Current CPR/AED certification
- Minimum 2 year of coaching experience.
- Minimum 3 years of customer service experience.
- Possess professionalism, honesty and personal integrity
- Experience and knowledge with performance testing + analysis and communication of results
- Experience working in 1:1, small group, and team environments.
- Experience training and programming for athletes and general population.
- Experience as an athlete considered to be an asset.
- Experience in a customer service setting, providing a high level of personalized attention.
- Experience building and maintaining strong relationships with clients/athletes
- Experience writing at a high level.
- Experience communicating verbally at a high level.
- Sales experience
- Demonstration of ongoing continuing education
- Possess passion, ambition, drive, and knowledge regarding the fitness industry
- Excel in time management, organizational and follow-up skills
- Must be able to pass criminal background check

**Compensation**

The successful applicant will be hired as a full-time contractor with a base compensation of $60-65,000, with the potential for total compensation reaching up to approximately $85,000+ including discretionary bonuses.

**ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS** - Must be able to perform all essential physical aspects of the position which may include standing, sitting, running, walking, jumping, squatting, bending, and reaching. As well as pushing, pulling and lifting up to 50 lbs at a time

**Salary**: From $60,000.00 per year
