**Responsibilities**:
Lead a team of designers and provide mentorship and guidance to help them grow and develop their skills

Manage the design process for all client projects, from initial concept through to final production

Collaborate with clients and sales team to understand project requirements and develop creative solutions that meet their needs

Review and approve all designs to ensure they meet quality and brand standards

Work with production team to ensure efficient and effective execution of all projects

Keep up-to-date with design trends and technologies, and implement best practices in the design process

Manage design projects within budget and timelines, and report on project progress to management

Attend Level 10 meetings with the leadership team to provide updates on design projects and collaborate on company-wide initiatives

Fully understand and be able to produce shop drawings in fine detail including channel letters, facia boxes, pylon signs and interior signage

Full understanding of all signage materials and the appropriate uses

**Key Performance Objectives**:
Quality: Ensure that all design projects meet the highest standards of quality and excellence, and that they align with the client's brand and vision.

Timeliness: Manage the design process to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget, and that any issues or delays are communicated effectively to the client and management.

Team performance: Manage and mentor a team of designers to ensure that they are performing at their best, and that they are meeting their individual and team targets.

Innovation: Stay up-to-date with design trends and technologies, and implement new ideas and processes to enhance the design process and improve the client experience.

Customer satisfaction: Collaborate with clients and the sales team to understand their needs and ensure that design projects meet or exceed their expectations, resulting in high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.

**Requirements**:
Bachelor's degree in design or a related field

5+ years of experience in design, with at least 2 years in a management or supervisory role

Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other design software

Strong understanding of typography, colour theory, and design principles

Experience in the signage or graphics industry is an asset
