**Warehouse Manager/Directeur d'Entrepôt**

**Scope for the position**:
**Basic function of the position**:

- Ensure all products are received in accurate and safe manner while ensuring proper documentation is maintained.
- Ensures that all orders are ready for shipping, packed properly and invoiced and that all shipping documentation are correct.
- Palletize customer’s orders in the proper staging lanes for pick-ups. Maintain the daily flow of common carrier orders and ensure accuracy.
- Fosters a cooperative and harmonious working climate conducive to maximize employee morale and productivity.
- Communicates job expectations, including monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions.
- Analyzes process workflow, employee requirements and implement ideas for improvement.
- Manage and reports on the organization’s KPI’s.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Provide training, guidance, and coaching to team members.
- Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
- Collaborates with Outside Sales and Inside Sales department regarding shipping and receiving inquiries.
- Coordinating with Logistics and Custom broker to ensure product reaches the warehouse in safe and timely manner. Collaborate with Quality during different phases of the receiving process.
- Maintains high level Inventory Accuracy.
- Effectively manage employee concerns, resolving issues, managing performance, and providing support.
- Ensure that all orders are picked and received as per SOP work instructions accurately and efficiently.
- Oversee daily scheduling of freight inbound and outbound documents for the correct information.
- Maintains a teamwork atmosphere among all associates, other departments, and other warehouses.
- Responsible for ensuring that deliveries are shipped with appropriate carrier.
- Willing to Receive products or pick orders during peak or staffing needs.
- Manage and ensure the adherence to Health & Safety guidelines.

**Required qualifications, education, experience**:

- College degree in Supply Chain & Logistics, Operations Management, or any other relevant combination of education and experience
- Minimum experience of 1-5 years in a similar position (in shipping and warehouse management)
- Must be bilingual; able to read, write, and speak in English and French
- Cherry Picker (Man-up) & Reach certification. Or wiling to get trained and use this equipment.
- Computer skills - MS Office (Strong MS Excel skills considered an asset)
- Results-oriented individual who thrives in achieving challenging goals.

- Ability to lead and manage a team to achieve common goals in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to motivate and coach others as well as provide feedback.
