- Creating lasting relationships with loyal guests of the winery through personalized and fun experiences.
- Creating an overall welcoming and entertaining atmosphere for clients.
- Conducting seated, structured tastings for those who come into the winery.
- Providing in-depth information about the wines being tasted and the methods used to create them.
- Option for leading tours through the vineyard
- Tours include a walk through the vineyard with Mediterranean Donkeys and a full tasting experience outside.
- Stocking and cleaning of shelves and tasting room.
- Packaging wine and material and carrying out wine for guests.
- Meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting cases of wine and standing for long periods of time.
- Operation of a POS (point of sale) system
- Servicing all the needs of the guest in the tasting room and in the retail store
- Checking in guests for their tastings

The Role of Assistant Retail Manager also includes the following:

- Assisting the Retail Manager in overseeing all day-to-day operations
- Provides daily leadership to all team members, including.
- Opening and closing duties, preparing, and processing cash floats, assisting in leading pre-shift meetings.
- Assisting in coaching staff members to ensure excellent service.
- Assist with scheduling and planning daily events.
- Assist in training new staff members.
- Being a point of contact for all employees and guests
- Oversee and supervise all retail and piazza staff.
- Assist in implementing new winery experiences, programs, policies, and procedures.
- Being available to work and assist at winery events.
- Be a brand ambassador and support the Colaneri Family’s passion and vision for the winery.
- Assist with any customer issues and/or complaints in a professional manner.
- The willingness to step into any role necessary when needed. (Tastings, tours, piazza etc)
- Full Weekend availability

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 40 per week
