IT - Help Desk Technician

**Responsibilities**
- Install and configure software and hardware, adhering to department standards.
- Set up accounts, with a preference for experience in Active Directory and O365 Administration.
- Conduct onsite and remote troubleshooting through advanced diagnostic techniques.
- Resolve technical hardware and software issues efficiently and provide exceptional customer service.
- Redirect unresolved issues to higher-level support personnel.
- Collaborate with external vendors, including Managed Service Providers (MSP), to manage and resolve issues.
- Provide onsite technical support for network equipment as directed by the System Engineer.
- Actively participate in cross-functional project teams to plan and deliver technology solutions.
- Ensure strict adherence to all IT policies and processes.
- Identify and execute process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency.
- Maintain security through rigorous access controls and policy adherence.
**Qualifications and Education Requirements**
- Proven success in a similar IT support role.
- Proficiency in end-user security tools such as VPN and MFA.
- Experience with various operating systems and platforms.
- Familiarity with MS Office tools.
- Resourcefulness and strong problem-solving aptitude.
- Demonstrated passion and ability to quickly and independently learn new technologies.
**Preferred Skills**
- BS/BA in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline.
- Professional certifications (e.g., MCSA)).
- 1-3 years of IT experience.
**Additional Requirements**:
- Valid G Class License
- Clean Criminal Background
