Reporting to the Director of Strategy & Communications, this role will be responsible for the creation and/or editing of digital content on KidsAbility multiple digital properties, including all internal and external web environments (intranet, extranet and internet) as well as social media channels and other tools both currently in use and those implemented in the future. The incumbent will be responsible for day-to-day publishing activities on all digital channels and will support the execution of digital campaigns. This role is also responsible for ensuring that all content reflects the KidsAbility voice and tone, is search engine optimized and meets accessibility standards.

**Responsibilities will include**:

- Responsible for the management of all KidsAbility-managed web properties, creating and curating webpages, managing updates, ensuring accuracy and relevance of content, SEO best practices and ensuring AODA compliance.
- Project manages any special digital projects working across the organization and with external partners on digital campaigns and joint communications projects.
- Manage social media program while implementing creative and measurable social campaigns. This includes planning an editorial calendar, creative strategy, and copywriting.
- Contribute to the planning and production of videos, including managing external agencies and/or videographers, and developing scripts and storyboards.
- Works with key internal stakeholders to brainstorm content ideas, in line with KidsAbility strategy and in support of various brand initiatives.
- Supports the Director in the development of department annual planning/budgeting and KPIs.
- Responsible for ensuring that brand standards, messaging and style guides are adhered to in all digital communications.
- Stay current on best practices and trends in the digital communications sector, bringing forward opportunities to innovate and support growth.

**Qualifications**:

- 3-5 years’ experience in the area of communications leading/coordinating all aspects of a multi-faceted communication plan(s).
- Degree or diploma in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or combination of relevant education and experience.
- Computer skills and experience in MS Office and content management systems (preferably WordPress and SharePoint).
- Experience using CRM and marketing automation systems such as Salesforce or HubSpot (or equivalent).
- Experience researching, writing, and executing comprehensive communications and marketing plans that include digital and traditional channels.
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms and how to leverage them for communications.
- A creative and strategic eye for effective design, graphic balance, and the impact of layout and messaging in communications materials, proficiency in graphic design with software preferred (i.e., InDesign, Canva, Illustrator)
- Understanding of digital metrics and analytics (Google Analytics, social insights, etc.)
- Strong written/verbal communication skills.
- Proven time management and organizational skills to set prioritiesand handle multiple responsibilities with tight deadlines.
- Possession of a valid Ontario driver’s license and a car in good working condition required.
