We are the leading importer and distributor of food brands from the Philippines. For almost 40 years, UNO Foods Inc. has been partnering with retailers in Canada and connecting them with quality products from the Philippines and across Asia.

We are looking for a full-time Marketing Assistant Monday to Friday, 40 hours each week. If you are a self-motivated, creative and dynamic individual with a keen interest in all things related to food, this position is for you

**JOB OVERVIEW**

As the Marketing Assistant you will work closely with our team and accomplish multiple tasks simultaneously:

- Assist the team in the creation and execution of innovative marketing initiatives for traditional and digital marketing
- Conduct research on market trends and formulate action plans
- Prepare marketing materials, posters & newsletters for internal and external use
- Manage and update company website
- Create and schedule posting of regular content on website blog, and on all social media channels
- Build and engage with online communities, including influencers
- Organize and participate in marketing events offsite that may occur outside regular business hours
- Support the Marketing Manager in organizing various projects
- Provide support for administrative duties when needed

**Skills**:

- Required Languages: Proficient in English
- Asset but not required: Proficient in Tagalog and/or French is an asset
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, Social Media and WordPress Website Management
- Photo editing software is an asset

**Work Experience**:

- at least 1 year experience working in an office environment, preferably in marketing
- at least 3 months working experience in creating campaigns and analyzing data with social media platforms, e-commerce platforms and search engines

**Education**:

- Diploma or Degree in Marketing or Communications
