**Job Description**:
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Municipal Utilities Project Manager. If you are passionate about driving infrastructure projects that positively impact communities and have a proven track record in project management, we want to hear from you.

The Transportation & Utilities service area is responsible for providing municipal services which include, but is not limited to, management, construction, operation, maintenance and repair of: bridges, streets/roads, ditches/culverts, water, sanitary sewer and storm sewer systems, active and closed solid waste facilities, wetland and other environmental projects. The department is also responsible for fleet services, waste management and recycling services, monitoring resource-related activities, and water and sewer services to select locations within the County.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

- Manage projects for the Municipal Utilities department (Water, Wastewater (incl. storm) and Solid Waste) from concept to close.
- Vendor, contractor and/or consultant supervision and management.
- Track budgets, critical tasks and timelines throughout project cycles
- Support the Utilities Operators and the Solid Waste group in the Municipal Utilities department
- Develop and/or maintain a thorough understanding of legislative requirements as they relate to water, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, solid waste systems and facilities, wetlands, waterbodies, and other environmentally significant areas.
- Field testing/sampling as required
- Understand, assess, audit and/or report on Municipal Utilities operations, systems and facilities
- Competent with the Microsoft 360 suite of software.
- Working knowledge of SCADA systems
- Understanding of the Provincial DRAS system for Water Act and EPEA approvals submissions
- Understanding of constructed wetlands, bioengineering, green infrastructure, and the associated best management practices, guidelines and legislation
- Have an understanding of ArcPro and/or Arc Online maps and data to maintain asset information accurately

**Qualifications**:

- Requires graduation from college, technical school, or university in an applicable discipline. An equivalent combination of education and experience would be considered.
- Minimum five years related experience in municipal or industry setting with some focus on water, wastewater, and environment including full range of project delivery methods, project management, tendering and contract management
- Membership with ASET or APEGA is an asset.
- Strong understanding of relevant regulations and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

**Work Schedule**:
This full-time, permanent position entails a 40-hour work week, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with half hour unpaid lunch break.

Pay rate: $51.94 to $61.11 per hour.
