Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating a forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. Load and offload sea containers and flat decks. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of our warehouse operations.

**Duties**:

- Operate various types of forklifts, including clamp trucks and order pickers, in a safe and efficient manner
- Load and unload materials from trucks or containers using forklifts
- Move materials within the warehouse to designated storage areas
- Perform order picking tasks by locating and retrieving products from storage areas
- Conduct regular inspections of forklifts and other equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Complete necessary paperwork related to inventory control and shipping/receiving activities
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse

**Experience**:

- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator in a warehouse or distribution center setting
- Proficiency in operating various types of forklifts, including clamp trucks and order pickers
- Ability to safely handle heavy lifting and operate equipment in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is preferred
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and verification purposes
- Mechanical knowledge to perform routine maintenance on forklifts
