Bilton Welding and Manufacturing Ltd. is looking for a reliable, goal-driven, and positive **_Heavy Industrial Forklift Operator _**to join our team in Innisfail, Alberta
- **Location**:Innisfail, Alberta** Schedule**:Monday-Thursday 6:00am to 4:30pm

- **Key Responsibilities**:

- Efficiently move product from staging and/or storage areas
- Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations
- Pull and prepare product for shipment
- Use radio frequency equipment for picking, receiving, put away, and load functions, as required
- On a daily basis, inspect and report minor maintenance requirements on the forklift, bobcat or other equipment
- Perform or assist in building, grounds, and equipment maintenance as required
- Operate equipment in tight and congested areas
- Experience completing heavy lifts, working in tandem to move large, off-balance loads.
- Communicate with other operators and ground crew throughout the day
- Prep and load shipments onto trucks
- Yard cleanup and organization
- Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods
- Sound knowledge of products, sizes and lift procedures
- Maintain all materials in the yards and warehouse in an organized and efficient manner
- Maintain the facility’s equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion
- Notify immediate Supervisor of any issues that may arise
- Other duties, as advised by direct supervisor

**Qualifications**:

- Critical lift experience is a must
- Tandem lift experience is essential
- Experience operating heavy industrial forklifts with a 20-30K pound capacity, in a manufacturing yard and shop environment.
- minimum 2 years of experience operating various equipment (forklift, bobcat, ariel work platform, etc.)
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Time management skills
- Attention to detail
- Effective organizational skills
- Effective verbal and listening skills
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions

**Working Conditions**:

- On-call may be required
- Overtime may be required
- Extreme weather conditions while working indoors and outdoors
- Uneven and rough terrain
- Exposure to various fumes when in the shop facilities
