London, Canada Fernhill Fencing Full time

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Carpenter to join our team.

strong preference for those with 5 years plus experience. The Senior Carpenter will lead and coordinate

fencing projects, ensuring that work is completed to the highest standards and that clients are

satisfied with the final product.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead and coordinate fencing projects, including planning and execution of fencing jobs
- Prepare jobsite for installation, including old fence removal, ground leveling.
- Install / build new fence to the highest craftsmanship standard including quality trim and finishes.
- Ensure that work is completed to the highest standards and that clients are satisfied with the

final product
- Communicate with clients to understand their requirements and preferences
- Maintain equipment and tools, ensuring that they are in good working order and properly

maintained
- Ensure that health and safety regulations are adhered to on all projects
- Train and mentor junior labourers on fencing techniques and industry standards

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 3 years of experience in the carpentry industry, preferred 5 years plus
- Excellent knowledge of framing techniques, materials, and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team
- Ability to lead and mentor junior labourers
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

**Salary**: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
