**Job Description Summary**:

If so, you might just be the perfect fit for this position. STEMCELL Technologies is seeking a Quality Control (QC) Analyst to become an integral part of our QC, Product Quality, Media team. In this role you will delve into our products, performing intricate product characterizations, refining testing protocols, and collecting data to enhance compliance and deepen insights into the design realm.

With a focus on understanding and challenging our products, you will contribute substantially towards enhancing product quality, regulatory adherence, and overall efficiency within our Quality Control department. This position offers a unique opportunity to join a growing team of driven and ambitious individuals who are passionate about advancing life science research.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Perform studies and develop assays following approved procedures and regulatory requirements, including data analysis and report preparation
- Work in collaboration with other departments including but not limited to Quality Assurance, R&D, and Process Development to resolve problems and troubleshoot issues
- Generate data for better product understanding, including product characterization and understanding of the design space
- Contribute to documentation efforts, ensuring accurate and thorough record-keeping according to established protocols
- Conduct data analysis including data interpretation, writing reports, updating and revising SOPs

**Knowledge and Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant life sciences field (e.g., biochemistry, biology, biotechnology, or a related discipline), with 1-2 years of relevant experience
- Previous experience in mammalian cell culture, aseptic techniques, and familiarity with GMP regulations
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with experience in documentation, writing reports, and writing SOPs
- Prior experience in a quality c ontrol and/or research and development role is an asset
