Esl & Celpip Prep Instructor

**Overview**

**Duties**
- Plan and deliver quality, interactive ESL and CELPIP preparation lessons tailored to the needs of mature adult learners.
- Utilize the Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) to assess, track, and enhance student progress.
- Incorporate Pearson NorthStar textbooks, GSE, and MyEnglishLab into lesson planning and instruction.
- Develop and adapt instructional materials to accommodate different learning styles and levels.
- Provide constructive feedback to students to help them build confidence and improve their skills.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and performance.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Linguistics, English, or a related field.
- TESL/TESOL certification or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with 2 of those years teaching mature adult learners.
- Strong working knowledge of the Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) and CELPIP test format.
- Familiarity with Pearson NorthStar textbooks, GSE, and MyEnglishLab is an asset.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Availability to teach in-person on a part-time schedule.
- Ability to integrate technology into language instruction.
- Experience developing and implementing CELPIP preparation curriculum(preferred).

Pay: $25.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 per week
