Esl / Ielts / Junior Instructor

Herald Language College seeks a dedicated part-time IELTS Speaking and Writing instructor for both General and Academic Modules.

Please note that IELTS classes average 5-10 students per section and instructors are expected to be available outside of dedicated class time to support students with their work.

**Responsibilities**:
Your Main Responsibilities include:

- Teach IELTS General and IELTS Academic (or sometimes, ESL) in small group settings.
- Provide proper IELTS band scores following the criteria. (Speaking/ Writing)
- Mark and provide feedback to students' written work.
- Provide full explanations to students' questions. (related to IELTS)

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree.
- A strong understanding of non-native speakers' common mistakes, and willingness to help students.
- Experience in teaching English to non-native speakers.
- Interest and ability in working with a wide range of age groups.
- A commitment to equality and fair instructions in the classroom, which gives all students the opportunity to learn and to demonstrate what they have learned.

**An IELTS score is an asset.**

**A valid TESOL certificate is an asset.**

**Training will be provided.**

**Hourly Wage: Starting at $18.00/hr**
