- Le CIUSSS de l’Ouest-de-l’Île-de-Montréal est présentement à la recherche d'éducateurs ou d'éducatrices pour combler divers postes à temps partiel au Centre de réadaptation de l’Ouest de Montréal (CROM). Les personnes retenues seront appelées à travailler dans nos diverses installations, allant du centre-ville de Montréal jusqu'à Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue (pointe Ouest de l'île). Nous recherchons donc des personnes aptes à se déplacer sur l'ensemble de notre territoire de desserte.
- Nous chercons à combler 4 postes à temps partiel (2 jours par semaine), en rotation jour/soir. Le quart de travail de jour est de 8h à 16h et le quart de travail de soir est de 14h à 22h. Les rotations sont sur base hebdomadaire (une semaine jour, une semaine de soir et ainsi de suite).
- Le CROM est un centre de réadaptation en déficiences intellectuelles, troubles du spectre de l’autisme et déficiences physiques (DI-TSA-DP) qui a pour mission de favoriser l’autonomie et la qualité de vie des usagers. Le CROM fournit des services à des usagers de tous âges ainsi qu’à leurs familles. Ces services incluent, au besoin, de l’hébergement en milieux de vie substituts (ex. familles d’accueil, résidences à assistance continue, etc.).
- Dans ce contexte, nous recherchons du personnel afin d’offrir un support en DI-TSA-DP, secteur adulte. Nos programmes-services comprennent deux (2) ressources résidentielles pour adultes et des programmes socioprofessionnels. Les programmes socioprofessionnels comprennent des programmes de jour, des ateliers protégés et des postes de travail intégrés. Dans tous les sites, l'accent est mis sur l'amélioration de la communication et de l'autorégulation ainsi que sur l'enseignement des compétences professionnelles et sociales et des aptitudes de la vie quotidienne, le tout afin d'améliorer l'autonomie, la participation sociale et l'inclusion des usagers présentant un diagnostic de DI-TSA-DP.

- Dans le cadre de vos fonctions comme éducateur(trice) au CROM, vous serez appelé(e) à:
- Assurer l'éducation et la rééducation des usagers en milieu institutionnel selon les programmes d'intervention établis, en collaboration avec l'équipe de professionnels en place, en vue de l'adaptation ou de la réadaptation de l'individu ou de sa réinsertion dans la société;
- Appliquer des techniques d'éducation en utilisant les actes de la vie quotidienne;
- Organiser, coordonner et animer les activités prévues au programme - telles que la modélisation et l’enseignement des compétences de vie, la régulation émotionnelle et la gestion de la colère - qui favorisent l'apprentissage et l'acquisition d'attitudes et de comportements adéquats;- Observer et analyser le comportement des usagers, participer à l’évaluation de leurs besoins et de leurs capacités, documenter la progression et définir leurs programmes d’activités;
- Assurer la supervision des jeunes et la gestion de crises tout apportant un soutien émotionnel.
