**Role Overview**

Amber Peak is seeking a motivated and dependable Lawn Care Technician to enhance our Maintenance Department. This role involves working outdoors independently, and takes ownership of all exterior maintenance operations through the summer months.

In this position, the technician will be responsible for executing yard maintenance on a bi-weekly basis, including cutting grass, light landscaping, and adapting to seasonal demands. A strong focus on maintaining high standards of cleanliness is paramount, as the technician will be the forefront our ensuring a well-kept and inviting streetscape at our properties.

**Availability and Compensation**:
This position will be a contracted seasonal position, with a 15-week term beginning May 21 and ending August 30. On a bi-weekly basis (8 work weeks), the technician will be responsible for completing their assigned scope of duties. The assigned scope of duties is estimated to be completed within 16 to 20 hours per week.

Compensation will be a flat rate of $400/week, based on an estimated 20 hours of work paid at a rate of $20/hour.

Days worked and the exact hours worked are flexible as long as the entirety of weekly scope is accomplished within the week.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Execute yard maintenance work orders with precision and timeliness, including lawn care, landscaping, and seasonal tasks, following the directives of the Property Manager.
- Maintain accurate records of lawn care tasks performed, time and materials used, and any other relevant information through the completion of necessary paperwork, including work orders and timesheets.
- Organize and maintain cleanliness of work equipment, tools, and vehicles.
- Safely perform all duties in compliance with Occupational Health and Safety standards, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe handling of equipment and materials.
- Contribute to the Amber Peak team by taking initiative to suggest property maintenance improvements to the Property Manager.

**Required Skills & Abilities**:

- High School Diploma or equivalent; further education is a plus.
- At least one year of experience in landscaping, maintenance, or related fields.
- Professional demeanor, strong interpersonal skills, and fluency in English.
- Physical fitness to perform labor-intensive tasks and comfortably handle equipment.
- Safety-first mindset with an organized and result-driven approach to work.
- Possession of appropriate safety footwear.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle for travel between properties with provided lawn care equipment.
