**What can I expect to do in this role?**: You will:
- provide prompt reception and administrative support
- provide routine information in response to general enquiries
- verify the identification and security clearance of visitors
- track supplies to ensure adequate stock levels
- provide word processing, filing, mail and copy services
**How do I qualify?**:
**Mandatory**: You must possess [oral and written] French language skills at the [advanced] level. Your proficiency level will be confirmed before hire.
**Office Administration and Organizational Skills**:
- you have understanding of standard office practices and procedures to perform a range of clerical duties
- you have demonstrated initiative, judgment and discretion
- you have the ability to understand youth facility operations, organizational structure and programs
- you have organizational skills to handle a large volume of calls and prioritize competing tasks
- you have the ability to pay attention to detail and ensure accuracy
**Communication Skills**:
- you have verbal communication skills to respond to both internal and external calls
- you have interpersonal skills to ensure prompt and courteous reception services
- you can maintain a high degree of tact and diplomacy when responding to inquiries
**Knowledge of Computers and Equipment**:
- you are proficient with computer software such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- you have working knowledge of office equipment such as landline phone system, photocopier, laminator, fax machine, postage machine
