**Department Overview**

Risk Marketplace (RMP) is a strategic asset that strengthens TD's risk-taking capability, enabling delivery excellence and early value realization while keeping the bank safe. RMP works directly with Journey and Platform teams (and in some cases non-NEW teams) to provide real-time risk mitigation and guidance. RMP 1Bs are at the core of the interaction model between the first line and the second line of defense. Risk Marketplace 1B are expected to maintain specialized business segment and / or line knowledge and general risk knowledge of key domains. They provide guidance on control requirements and know when and if risk domain specialists are required.

Maintain and enhance risk culture and awareness within NEW Journeys/Platforms
- Build a collaborative culture of risk awareness and ownership, in support of the Enterprise Risk Framework
- Monitor and drive consistency around risk identification and mitigation within NEW Journeys or Platforms
- Highly seasoned professional role requiring substantial business knowledge and provides broad risk knowledge across multiple risk domains (e.g. Compliance, Privacy, AML, ORM, etc.)
- Coordinates coverage on stories and individual PODs.

Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships within NEW Journeys/Platforms
- Trusted partner for change
- Supports 1A to design, implement, assess and maintain effective internal controls
- Serves as the primary conduit for the 1st line of defense to the 2nd line of defense

Ensure alignment with the Risk Marketplace Playbook within NEW Journeys/Platforms and Journeys/Platforms operating manual
- Participate in Journey/Platform activities in alignment with the Risk Marketplace Playbook and Journeys/Platforms operating manual
- Ensure risk issues are identified, managed, and reported per enterprise policy/guidelines and ensure appropriate escalation processes are followed
- Distill and report on risks within the Journey or Platform that merit attention from 2A Risk & Control Partner Function Leads
- Coordinate removal of blockers with Risk Marketplace Team and stakeholders
- Coordinate and obtain all required sign-off for the CRA as outlined in the Change Governance Standard and/or other artifacts, as required

**Job Requirements**
- Ability to question and challenge status quo
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deadlines and priorities
- Ability to work effectively in a highly collaborative team environment
- Detail-oriented with the ability to follow up on items or determine appropriate steps for timely escalation and/or resolution
- Ability to deal with conflicting points of view and to effect creative and responsive solutions
- Undergraduate degree preferred
- Advanced industry and business knowledge and expertise on risk and control functions
- 7+ years of relevant experience

- Online/mobile environment experience
- Agile operational experience
- JIRA experience
