Field Sales Representative

**Location**:Remote Fort St John, B.C.
**Job Summary**:
The Field Sales Representative will be responsible for representing Ulterra ethically and professionally at the field level. Field Sales Reps are challenged with growing revenue and market share, building relationships, capturing performance data, providing the highest level of customer service and communicating needs and opportunities within the organization.
**Responsibilities**:
- Communicate with rigs in assigned area with consistency and professionalism.
- Customer Service and ability to build, maintain and grow relationships is a main priority.
- Account for 100% of inventory always through all implemented documentation and procedures.
- Advanced understanding of how bit records effect other processes.
- Have all required reports (daily reports, expense reports, vehicle inspection reports, revenue flashes, and all other requested reports) completed and returned by deadlines with quality standards met.
- Gather data (Drilling Bit Records) at the field level to support the sales and Applications Engineering efforts.
- Demonstrate advanced knowledge of field market conditions (customer relationships, rig count, total market ($), market share ($), market share (%), all performance information, drilling conditions, drilling variables, future activity, etc.).
- Open communication with Sales teams, Applications Engineers, Account Reps, and District Manager daily.
- Always maintain a safe and clean company vehicle. Employees are responsible for timely routine maintenance.
- Dress in a professional manner as directed by management. This includes facial hair requirements and restrictions.
- Work closely with the Applications Engineering team to ensure that they are gathering sufficient data at the field level for product development and ensure that all test product is dropped at the correct locations and that required data is gathered.
- Ensure you are always following safety protocol
- Other duties as required.
**Job Requirements**
**Education/Experience**:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 3+ years’ experience, preferably in field sales, drilling industry or in another Oil & Gas industry.
- Drilling Rig experience is an asset.
**Other Qualifications**:
- Strong organizational skills with a customer first mentality.
- Intermediate computer skills with the ability to advance.
- Advanced written and verbal communications skills.
- Must prioritize and manage time efficiently.
- Good attitude and the ability to work in a team atmosphere as well as individually.
- Able to take and give instruction and direction.
- Experienced in navigation programs.
- Must have and maintain a clean driving record.
