**Pay Rate**: $22.60/hr

Under the direction of the Site Supervisor, the incumbent will assist with the general supervisor and deployment of contact Security personnel.

A primary function of this role is to provide full and excellent operational support, insight and direction to the College’s Security Control Centre. This will include being the lead trainer for Communications Operators. The incumbent will also provide a secondary function of administrative support and oversight by conducting various auditing processes in support of the College’s Security Contract at the direction of the vendor and the Site Supervisor. The expectation is that the person has superior knowledge of the whole operations within the Security Control Centre and not just be trained for basic coverage. This person will be responsible for everything within the Security Control Centre.

**Nature & Scope**

The incumbent must be available to work all shifts. The schedule will include days and afternoons and when necessary will provide backfill support for shift and vacation coverages.

**Specific Accountabilities**
- Ensuring the efficient and appropriate deployment and operational activities of members under their authority
- Sharing after hours on-call with Site Supervisor
- Responsible for day-to-day operations of the Security Control Centre
- Exceptional knowledge of policies and procedures of the Security Control Centre
- Directing and briefing the staff on all departmental matters and procedures
- Attending meetings as require by Fanshawe College
- Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, college policy, department directives, operating procedures and applicable agreements
