Supervise all Laundry and Housekeeping staff
- Work closely with the Maintenance Dept. and Front Office Department to determine which staff and supplies will be required
- Ensure that all housekeeping equipment is properly cleaned and maintained
- Adjusts staffing as necessary for sudden changes in occupancy.
- Schedules and supervises all rotational and special cleaning programs as required
- Monitors the responses on customer comment cards; identifies problem areas and formulates solutions.
- Ensures correct hours are entered into the payroll system on a daily basis.
- Train, motivate and supervise staff to ensure star performance and spirit standards are achieved.
- Physical requirements of the position include the ability to lift approximately 25-55 lbs.
- Sets goals and standards while finding solutions that are beneficial to guests and associates, while meeting deadlines that are decisive and achievement oriented
- Recognizes and reward top performance, is approachable, caring and considerate.
- Ensure Lost and found items are entered correctly; respond to the guest’s lost and found calls.
- Performs cleaning duties in cases of emergency or staff shortage.
- Issues supplies and equipment to Staff.
- Establishes standards and procedures for work of housekeeping staff.

**Preferred Education & Qualifications**:

- A minimum of 1 year hospitality experience in the rooms division
- Demonstrated working knowledge of Property Management system, Microsoft Word and Excel
- Must possess very high motivational skills and the ability to lead the team with very little supervision
- A proven ability be comfortable with change and to stay focused dealing with many interruptions
- Displays a positive attitude, maintains enthusiasm and celebrates success
- Ability to multitask under pressure.
- Available to work flexible hours, including mornings and weekends
