Psychometrist

The Integrated Community Access Program is seeking a Psychometrist, who is a motivated, self-starter, to provide psychotherapy services within the Anxiety and Mood Disorders (AMD) service. The psychometrist will work as a member of the interdisciplinary team to provide manualized cognitive behavioural therapy and interpersonal therapy in both group and individual settings to clients experiencing symptoms of mood and anxiety disorders. The psychometrist will also contribute to program development, evaluation, and research activities as key member of this team.
- Qualifications Required and Preferred-
- Masters in Psychology, preferably counseling psychology
- Be registered with the College of Psychotherapists
- Have excellent oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment are essential.
- Current CPR HCP is required
- Training, experience and practice in CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) and Interpersonal Therapy (IPT) preferred.
- Knowledge and experience working in an outpatient setting
- 3-5 years of recent experience in a mental health setting or service is preferred
- Understanding of relevant legislation, such as the Mental Health Act and PHIPA is required
