**Hours: 35 hours per week**

The School of Applied Health Sciences at the Michener Institute of Education at UHN seeks to hire a dynamic Professor in one of its flagship programs, Cardiovascular Perfusion (CVP). The CVP program is the largest and one of the very few programs in Canada training cardiovascular perfusionists. Recently, the government of Ontario approved consent for Michener to offer a Master of Science degree in Cardiovascular Perfusion to graduates - the first program in Canada to offer a graduate credential in this field.

**Position Qualifications**:

- Perfusionist with a minimum of three years’ experience preferred
- Currently certified by the Canadian Society of Clinical Perfusion (CSCP) or American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP)
- Masters level education in Cardiovascular Perfusion or related discipline required, PhD preferred (A strong applicant enrolled or committed to enrolling in a Masters program may be considered.)
- Certification by and membership in relevant professional association
- Demonstrated clinical experience and currency
- Satisfactory Canadian Police Clearance document required upon hire
