**About Future Festival**:
Trend Hunter's Future Festival World Summit is the company's flagship conference and takes place in downtown Toronto. It is an event like no other with 1,000+ of the world's top innovation and insights leaders from brands coming together to plan for their upcoming year. Between innovation keynotes, prototyping workshops, tech-infused networking parties and experiential Trend Safaris, attendees are treated to a fully immersive 3-day program. This year, our festival will travel to Los Angeles, Atlanta, New York, Chicago and Minneapolis.

**Role and Responsibilities**

This past year, Future Festival has had over 30,000 attendees participate in our virtual events. With our Flagship conference approaching in September, we are looking for a dedicated and driven applicant to join our team and assist in carrying out various functions related to the conference. The hired applicant will work on our Strategic Initiatives team to help plan, execute and coordinate details to ensure the smoothness and efficiency of our upcoming events.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Establishing and maintaining relationships with venues and handling negotiation
- Ticket registration management and data entry
- Researching, organizing and executing Trend Safaris
- Updating Future Festival copy with city, Trend Safari, and speaker details
- General research, and making/building connections with new and existing vendors
- Handling shipping logistics (getting materials to sites all across North America)
- Event decor and design assistance
- Event-related research
- Responsible for the coordination of travel logistics and shipments

**Requirements**:

- Past event-related experience
- Administrative experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- A self starter who is highly organized and self motivated
- Comfortable with Excel, Word, PowerPoint and general data entry
- Strong negotiation skills
