Job Title: Night Shift Manager

Department: Grocery

Overview:
To be responsible for the stocking of shelves and neat presentation of the store for the next day of business. Specific duties and responsibilities to include the following.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Ensuring exceptional customer service is provided in a courteous manner to maintain our reputation for friendly, effective, and personalized experience.
- To ensure proper receiving procedures are followed and that all merchandise is verified with invoices to ensure the accuracy of logs;
- To be responsible for ensuring proper product rotation, all shelves are properly stocked, and that grocery merchandise is labelled with proper PLU’s;
- To ensure all ordering of product is completed for the next day;
- To ensure safety policies and procedures are adhered to and that the store is neat and clean for the next day of business;
- To interpret and administer company policy, ensuring compliance with union contract;
- To prepare a summary worksheet for the franchisee, indicating the level of production achieved.
- To perform other duties as assigned.
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Two to three years’ experience in the grocery retail industry, preferably in night production;
- To possess strong merchandising experience;
- Ability to direct and supervise all departments on night shift, checking progress and results;
- Flexibility to work weekends as support to the 7-day operations;
- Ability to effectively train new grocery night crew employees;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
