**Highlights of this opportunity**:

- Maintains a comprehensive Programming Calendar of Events, identifying and recommending opportunities for special APTN programming;
- Works in collaboration with the Directors of TV Programming and Scheduling to program days of special programming;
- Helps develop RFPs for special projects and works with relevant parties for program development and production;
- Acts as the logístical Lead within APTN for special event projects such as Indigenous Day Live, NDTR, etc.
- Acts as the lead APTN representative on special projects, and any additional forms of original programming, as assigned;
- Assists in the screening of rough & fine cuts, assessment of special event scripts, and provides written recommendations;
- Assists in tracking Special Events deliverables and maintains a record of producer and stakeholder of interactions;
- Gathers data and assists with corporate reporting, as required;
- Travel will be required, as assigned.

**Your accomplishments and experience include**:

- A degree or diploma in a relevant discipline with proven related experience;
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite;
- Broadcasting knowledge;
- Experience working with an Indigenous organization as well as knowledge of Indigenous cultural perspectives is an asset.
