Our Client is seeking a Data Analyst to work on service innovation, program review and digital transformation projects. These teams, work collaboratively and collectively participate in a full range of activities including: field research, backlog definition and refinement, and sprint planning and execution. Digital transformation projects review the current state of services, identify future opportunities, and then deliver new services that are efficient, effective and affordable.

Must be available during regular Alberta business hours and work within Canada at all times. Must be Canadian Citizen to apply.

**Experience Required/Mandatory Skills**
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, IT or related field of study.
- Experience as a Data Analyst, Data Engineer or in a similar role. (4+ years)
- Experience with cloud platforms, including AWS (EC2, S3, RDS), GCP (BigQuery, Cloud Storage), or Azure (Azure SQL Database, Blob Storage), with a focus on deploying scalable data solutions and optimizing data pipelines for a range of projects. (2+ years)
- Experience with data marts, data warehousing, BI tools, etc. (2+ years)
- Experience working with querying data with Microsoft Transact-SQL Server. (4+ years)
- Knowledge of ETL processes and tools, with hands-on experience designing and implementing data pipelines for transforming and loading data from multiple sources into data warehouses. (2+ years)

**Nice To Have Skills**
- Experience integrating DevOps practices to the development workflow using CI/CD best practices. (1+ year)
- Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools such as Data Factory, API Management, Talend, etc. (1+ year)
- Experience with object-oriented/object function scripting languages such as R, Python, Java, C++, Scala, etc. (1+ year)

**Location**
- Edmonton/Remote

**Work Environment**
- 3 months with 1 possible 1-year extension

**Hourly Rate**
- Negotiable
