If so, we are looking for a full-time, permanent **Data Analyst** **to join our growing marketing team in Edmonton, Alberta. As a Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and interpreting sales data to drive strategic marketing decisions. Your primary focus will be on extracting insights from large datasets, performing statistical analysis, and presenting findings to sales, marketing, and operations departments.

**Your Day-To-Day**:

- Collect, clean, and analyze retail data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Conduct statistical analyses, including regression analysis, clustering, and segmentation, to uncover correlations, customer behavior patterns, and actionable insights.
- Develop and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports that provide accurate and timely information for marketing decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as marketing, sales, and operations, to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
- Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop measurement frameworks to track the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
- Monitor and evaluate marketing campaigns, customer segmentation strategies, and loyalty programs to assess their impact and make data-driven recommendations for optimization.
- Utilize data visualization techniques to create compelling presentations and reports for communicating insights to both technical and non-technical staff.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analysis, marketing analytics, and retail metrics to continually enhance the effectiveness of marketing strategies.
- Collaborate with data engineers and IT teams to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and availability for analysis.

**Who you are**:

- A bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role, preferably in the retail or e-commerce industry.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as SQL, Python, R, or SAS.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and derive actionable insights.
- Experience with enterprise resource planning software such as Netsuite.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or D3.js.
- Familiarity with statistical techniques, experimental design, and A/B testing methodologies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to data accuracy and quality.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for driving business outcomes through data-driven decision-making.
