The Fiat Operations Specialist role is responsible for managing and supporting various payment and fiat-related projects. The role requires a keen attention to detail and ability to collaborate cross-functionally to drive efficiencies, review and advise on payment exception handling and assist with the growth of new payment offerings. In this role, you will partner with myriad internal and external stakeholders to deliver operational and financial excellence across existing, evolving, and innovative new payment flows.

**Responsibilities**:

- Build domain expertise across multiple lines of business, including but not limited to account onboarding, payments, crypto and risk
- Partner with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to optimize and reduce company costs and increase revenues tied to payment/fiat initiatives
- Develop strong understanding of the payment transaction lifecycle, from payment partners, internal systems, automated and manual processes and the associated reporting
- Support project teams on implementation and new product launches
- Identify, triage and assist with solutioning of payment related incidents with cross functional and external partners

**Requirements**:

- Passionate about working in a fast-paced environment supporting high leverage growth initiatives
- 5+ years of experience in payment/treasury/growth functions and focus areas, including managing operational and process excellence programs
- “Crypto curious” with a keen desire to drive the web3 industry forward in service of our customers
- Thorough knowledge of rules and regulations around ACH, Wires, Debit and Credit Cards as well as NACHA and MTLs
- Strong knowledge of payment flows
- Ability to work in fast paced environment with nuanced payment complexities
