**Job Overview**

Little Kickers provides children 1.5 to 7 years of age a positive introduction to sport via soccer activity classes. Our soccer skills and games are taught in a fun, non-competitive environment. Our coaches use their imagination and creativity to deliver our lessons in an engaging and playful atmosphere.

We are looking for a reliable, energetic, and engaging individual to manage our coaching team as well as our customer service and daily operation needs. If you are passionate about working with children, being active and playing soccer, and leading a large team of coaches, then this is the ideal job for you

For external hires, we will begin with training new hires to coach and excel in our program before considering an applicant as the Operations Manager. You would be working 35-45 hours a week once fully trained as the Manager and 10-20 while training. Our Operations Manager will be working anywhere from 8-20 hours coaching/training coaches and 15-25 hours working on the operations/administrative side of the business.

**Responsibilities**:

- Coaching and managing soccer classes for children aged 18 months-7 years old
- Proactive pre-session planning of Little Kickers classes/events and distributing to the coaching team.
- New coach recruitment, hiring, training, managing, scheduling and corresponding with coaches
- Reporting to and coordinating with Franchisee to ensure the high-quality Little Kickers sessions at all times
- Equipment logistics (getting equipment, uniforms, badges to coaches when needed)
- Lesson planning for all classes

**Requirements**:

- Experience working with and engaging young children
- Athletic experience playing sports
- Positive, solution focused attitude towards problem solving
- High energy individual with a good level of fitness and able to coach soccer skills/games with young children
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and excellent time management and strong problem-solving skills
- Administrative skills and computer literacy (Google Docs, Excel, etc.)
- Management experience
- Driver's license and access to a vehicle
- Must be available while classes are running, Tues 4-7:30pm, Wed 4-7pm, Thurs 4-7:30pm, Saturday 8:30-1pm and Sunday 8:30-1pm
- Must be able to work Saturday and Sundays consistently
- Reliable and flexible - must be able to commit to weekly working schedule
- Energetic, enthusiastic, and outgoing personality who enjoys working with children, parents, and co-workers
- Able to be playful, fun, and imaginative with children
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with children and deliver feedback to parents
- Administrative skills - able to manage all program administration through our online business system (Salesforce)
- Quick learner who is open to feedback
- Attention to detail in all things, especially writing (grammar, spelling)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Sending out communication to all registered families

Responsibilities managing the day to day administration of the business include:

- Coordinating and scheduling programs
- Sourcing and securing venues for the program to operate out of and being an overall jack-of-all-trades
- Looking for ways to increase enrolment, and improve class quality

We are looking for someone who is entrepreneurial, who can contribute ideas to grow our business and one who our customers rave about interacting with.

Compensation - negotiable depending on availability and work experience.

Pay: $40,000.00 per year

Additional pay:

- Bonus pay
