**What you’ll do**
- As we embark on a bold new strategic plan, we’re expanding our in-house creative team to jolt our brand to life in new and innovative ways. In this newly created role, the Copywriter (Intermediate) will ideate, create and craft copy and campaigns that bring our brand voice to life.
- Reporting to the Creative Director, the
** Copywriter (Intermediate)** is responsible for stewarding the growth of our brand voice. You will partner with multiple teams (both internal and external) to create compelling work that reflects our brand purpose, powerfully resonates with our audiences and unifies the brand experience across all donor-facing touchpoints. Your work will break through the clutter.
- We're looking for an idea person: forward thinking across multiple channels with a passion and craft for words that will move people to act. Your work will establish a memorable imprint in the mind and experience of our audience.
- More specifically, you will:

- Roll up your sleeves to work on creating ideas big and small, by partnering with foundation partners and team members.
- Steward our brand voice, by writing within brand guidelines while helping to expand the brand voice, and tailoring your writing to an audience.
- Think strategically and mine insights from every brief.
- Build and own copy decks for internal and external presentations.
- Work with a variety of partners: designers, art directors, marketing specialists, producers and other foundation partners.

- 3+ years of experience as a Copywriter agency/client-side.
- Book/portfolio of work you would love to show and tell (required).
- A proactive and entrepreneurial sense of urgency and ability to prioritize important work.
- Comfort interacting with medical experts and sensitivity in working with patient families.
- Strong presentation skills that inspire and engage an audience.
- Strong familiarity with industry standard creative software to get your work done, including: MS Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Suite — and the willingness to learn/adapt to new tools adopted across our teams.
