**_Position Overview_**

Our manufacturing facility in Burlington, Ontario is looking for a self-driven, ambitious individual to join our company in the role of **Quality Control Technician
- Concrete Pole Products**

In this role, you will execute production quality control inspections on the manufacturing plant floor, ensuring all products and processes satisfy our high standards of quality, safety, and customer expectations.

**_Responsibilities_**
- Conduct quality control checks on products
- Conduct product testing including cylinder breaks, slump tests, and moisture tests
- Ensure compliance of products and processes with all applicable standards and codes (CSA, ISO, etc.)
- Observe, report, and communicate quality performance with management and production staff
- Investigate quality issues through root cause analysis in order to provide technical advice
- Prepare & analyze quality control reports
- Continuous improvement of existing products and procedures

**_Requirements_**
- College diploma in an Engineering program or previous work experience in Quality Control
**- Willing to get dirty - time spent will be approx. 80% working hands-on in our manufacturing plant and 20% administrative duties**
- Strong interest in and knowledge of concrete
- Experience using AutoCAD is a plus
