Landscape Supervisor

- **Landscape Supervisor Duties**:_
- Required to work Monday to Friday (7:30am -5:30pm) through the entire Landscape season (April 15th - November 15th)
- Travel to various job locations (with use of company vehicle) within an hour of Brockville, On.
- Perform detailed pre-trip inspections of all equipment being used each day.
- Clean and lubricate all equipment.
- Properly secure all equipment being loaded in trailers.
- Perform a detailed property walk with other team members - this involves litter pick up, debris removal, hazard assessments, and a plan on how to complete assigned task the safest and most efficient way possible without hindering the quality of the finished product.
- Operate all required equipment safely and efficiently (concrete saws, tractors, trucks, trailers, skid steers, loaders, chain saws etc.)
- Excavate and install aggregates, soils, mulch, brick, landscape lighting.
- Install interlock pavers, retaining walls, and other landscape features, ensuring that all work is completed in accordance with company and industry standards.
- Maintain momentum through job process to uphold estimated times with regards to scheduling.
- Delegate job tasks, problem solve, and take direction as needed.
- Effective communication skills.
- Complete job from start to finish.
- Keep the property/work areas clean, safe, and tidy.
- Adhere to and when necessary, implement company Policies and Procedures without hesitation.

**You will be expected to work and communicate effectively within a team dynamic in a leadership role, in order to ensure that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high quality standard.**

**Requirements**:
High school diploma or equivalent.

Minimum of 5+ years of experience in landscape construction, with a focus on interlock pavers and other hardscape features.

Drive and back up truck/trailer configurations.

Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

Ability to work within team dynamic in a leadership position.

Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and lift heavy objects as required.

Ability to wok Monday - Friday (full time hours) From April 15th
- November 15th with the option to continue through winter with snow removal.

Minimum of valid G2 License, G driver's license is preferred, with clean abstract and access to a reliable vehicle.

**Salary**:
Pay range is $25.00- $30.00 per hour and will be based on experience.

**After 3 months we will conduct an employee review to proceed with the use of company vehicle for "to and from" work, fuel card, and company cell phone.

Year around work available/optional (Landscaping, spring/fall clean up jobs, snow removal)
