Distinct Lawn Works is a fast growing Landscape and Lawn care company based out of Brockville, Ontario.

We are currently seeking experienced "Snow Plow Operators" for the duration of the snow removal season. It is the intent and hope that the individuals brought on will be transitioning into a full time member of our team in Lawn care or Landscaping beginning April 2023, as we offer our clients year round services with highly trained and professional team members.

We train all team members in house to ensure our quality of standards are maintained as the business continues to thrive.

Due to the nature of the scope of work being dependent on weather, it is pertinent that applicants acknowledge the position requires Day and Night time availability.
- Thoroughly understands and follows the company policies and safety measures
- Reports any/all unsafe conditions or incidents immediately to supervisor on duty
- Safely operates equipment (full training is provided prior to first shift in field)
- Reports to work on time
- Reports to work in proper attire/PPE, and fully prepared to stay until scope of work is complete.
- Ability to communicate respectfully, effectively and honestly with team members and management staff in a respectful manner
- Willing and able to follow direction, take initiative and work independently as required.

**Skill Set & Educational Requirements**:

- Minimum of high school or GED
- Full G License
- Experience wit a plow truck (2+ years preferred)
- Clean drivers abstract
- Clean criminal record
- Must be physically able to perform labour intensive work with full range of mobility in upper and lower body
- Ability to lift 50Lbs without assistance
- Reliable transportation to/from work.

**Salary**:

- $18.00 - $25.00/hr based on experience
- Guaranteed hours throughout the winter months

Snow removal positions have the potential to move into landscape or lawn care positions in April 2023 ( All rates and incentives are based on experience, abilities, positions being filled)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 3 months

**Salary**: $18.00-$25.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift

Shift availability:

- Day Shift (preferred)
- Night Shift (preferred)
- Overnight Shift (preferred)

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Brockville, ON

Expected start date: 2023-02-13
