**Marketing Writer (Hybrid)**

Reliance Foundry’s mission is making places people want to be, out in the world through our products (bollards, site furnishings, hardscape, and more), and also in our workplace.

Our marketing team is small but mighty—we’re a close-knit group of six who are passionate about our craft. In a large company, we’d be siloed into marketing, communications, website, and ecomm departments, but at Reliance, we have our hands in everything. It’s a fantastic and fun learning environment, where we prioritize collaboration and growth, and every wild idea is genuinely considered.

The marketing writer is a key role on our team. We have a vast array of written content: a weekly blog post, 4-5 new products each month, installation guides, website copy, social media, presentations, proposals, video scripts, and much more.

**Who you are**:
First and foremost, you’re a writer. You love words and grammar, and have an unparalleled attention to detail. In addition, you’re passionate about research. You’ll dive headfirst into selecting relevant topics and keywords, learning everything you can (especially about customer pain points and solutions), and then writing about it.

We write about very niche products, that can be quite technical. We’re looking for someone who is capable of building a deep understanding of our products, as well as metal casting processes, installation methods, and engineering specifications—and then taking those concepts and making them interesting and accessible to potential customers.

We don’t micromanage, but we do have opinions. We’re looking for you to be confident in your writing, and to pitch your case to management on marketing campaigns, wording, and more—but also have the flexibility to let things go when appropriate.

With recent developments in AI, the content marketing landscape is changing. We’re looking for someone who is open to not only writing, but using the internet as a tool. Editing and organization should also be strong parts of your wheelhouse.

**What you’ve done**:
The website is our “storefront,” so having a solid grasp of or experience with SEO is helpful. In addition, we primarily focus on B2B marketing, so previous B2B experience is an asset.

However, if you’ve got fantastic grammar, a solid written voice, and a positive and curious personality, we’re happy to train the right person.
