**Role**:
The Proposals Writer will primarily be accountable for key administrative tasks associated with writing compelling, accurate and well-organized proposals and related business documentation. The individual will ensure content is comprehensive, consistent, concise, and thorough, adhering to the highest professional writing standards, company’s practices, and customer requirements.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for the maintenance and registration renewal of annual procurement sites for key clients
- Responsible for identifying new solicitations through registered procurement sites and publishing communication to internal teams for a Bid/No Bid decision
- Responsible for document control process and standards maintained by the Proposal Department
- Responsible for administrative duties related to writing and editing all solicitation types for potential clients and future projects
- Provide writing assistance to Proposal Department and bid teams as required, supporting project management, process, quality, and efficiency improvement initiatives and develop templates, presentations, brochures, project profiles and other documentation as required
- Provide adherence with corporate branding standards for department templates and written submittals for all solicitation types
- Develop and maintain standard client-specific project execution plan templates
- Integrate all aspects of the project and construction execution plan into proposal submissions; validate that the plans are comprehensive and consistent with the requirements of the client; communicating plans in a concise and thorough manner
- Support advancing the development of company’s project management practices and procedures
- Ensure technical and commercial documents prepared for bid packages facilitate a proposal review process and guide production in the final draft
- Provide peer review of bid packages prior to submission, ensuring they have been prepared in alignment with corporate branding strategy, company standards for accuracy, quality writing, and marketing focus
- Uphold a team environment by assisting peers with workloads and offering support, and/or offset workload with peers
- Additional duties as assigned or required

**Education, Training & Experience**:

- Proposal writing/coordination experience will be considered an asset, but not a requirement
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, Editing, English or similar fields
- Advanced working knowledge of MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
- Working knowledge of Canva or other graphic design tool
- Working knowledge of Salesforce (CRM) is an asset

**Skills & Abilities**:

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must have excellent writing skills, along with the ability to edit and re-write inputs from others
- Ability to prioritize competing tasks, manage time effectively, and deliver multiple submissions within tight deadlines with minimum supervision
- Demonstrates a high level of dependability in all aspects of the job
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and quality
