As a Server/Dietary Aid, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the dining experience for our residents. Your primary responsibilities will be taking order, serving meals, ensuring dietary preferences are met, cleaning, restocking and maintaining a clean and organized dining area. This position requires a friendly and customer focused approach, as you will be interacting with residents on a daily basis.
- **Meal Service**: Serve meals to residents in a courteous and timely manner, ensuring special dietary needs are accommodated.
- **Customer Interaction**: Engage with residents in a friendly and respectful manner, taking orders and addressing any concerns or preferences related to dining.
- **Cleanliness**: Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the dining and country kitchen area, including clearing tables, sanitizing surfaces, dishes, and ensuring a tidy environment.
- **Assistance**: Provide assistance to residents as needed, including helping with menu selections and accommodating individual dietary requirements.
- **Team Collaboration**: Work collaboratively with kitchen staff, fellow servers, and other team members to ensure smooth and efficient dining operations.
**Qualifications**:
- **Previous Experience**: Prior experience in a similar role, preferably in a senior living or hospitality setting.
- **Customer Service Skills**: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- **Attention to Detail**: Ability to follow dietary restrictions and preferences accurately.
- **Team Player**: Capable of working collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- **Flexibility**: Willingness to adapt to a dynamic work environment and respond to the changing needs of residents.
