**Key Job Elements**:

- Create solid models, layouts and associative assembly and detail drawings from sketches, notes or direction from senior designers or Project Engineers to stringent industry, company and military standards
- Design mobile defense subsystems with mínimal supervision utilizing NX CAD software integrated to the Teamcenter database
- Perform design calculations and trade-off studies as required
- Incorporate engineering change requests into existing Technical Data Package
- Perform dynamic motion and interference analyses
- Support Bid and Proposal activities by determining scope of work and preparing labour estimates, preparation of Basis of Estimates (BOE).
- May be required to assist in the development of departmental processes, standards and related documentation
- May be required to provide system-level CAD model/product structure support and administer working files for multiple design teams
- May be required to develop standard parts and integrate these parts into the Teamcenter Classification database

**Required Qualifications**:

- University degree or college diploma in Electrical or Mechanical field
- Experience with NX CAD software in modeling, drafting and advanced assemblies (including experience received through school as applicable)
- Strong knowledge of drawing practices and standards
- Must be able to meet Anthropometrical Size Requirements for confined space

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Mechanical design experience utilizing CAD tools
- Experience with typical defense and/or mobile equipment standards (e.g. MIL-Specs, ASME standards, SAE standards, FMVSS, etc.)
- OACETT certified Mechanical Technologist or Technician (CET) with specialty in mobile equipment
