Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a Traffic Controller to join our team. The Traffic Controller will be responsible for managing traffic flow and ensuring the safety of workers and pedestrians in construction zones. This is a crucial role in maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

**Duties**:

- Direct traffic using hand signals, flags, or other designated traffic control devices
- Set up and remove traffic control signs, cones, and barricades
- Monitor traffic conditions and adjust traffic control measures as needed
- Communicate with construction crews to coordinate traffic flow and ensure safety
- Provide clear instructions to drivers and pedestrians regarding detours or alternate routes
- Report any incidents or accidents to supervisors or appropriate authorities
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a Traffic Controller or similar role is preferred
- Familiarity with traffic control devices and procedures
- Ability to operate heavy equipment such as build or pave machinery is a plus
- Strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Excellent attention to detail and situational awareness
- Valid G driver's license with a clean driving record
